Common questions

What do you treat?

Our physicians evaluate and treat many common non-emergency concerns, including:

  • Cold and flu symptoms
  • Sinus symptoms and sinus infections
  • Sore throat and strep throat
  • Cough, bronchitis, and other respiratory symptoms
  • Allergies
  • Urinary tract infections (UTIs)
  • Pink eye and other minor eye concerns
  • Rashes, acne, and minor skin conditions
  • Minor infections
  • STI concerns and evaluation
  • Gout
  • Hair loss
  • Erectile dysfunction
  • Weight management
  • Prescription refills (not guaranteed; based on the physician’s clinical evaluation)
  • Doctor’s notes
  • General medical consultations

Some conditions need lab work, imaging, or an in-person exam, and your physician will let you know when in-person care is needed:

  • Imaging is available through HDRS.
  • Lab testing is available through Clinical Labs.
What don’t you treat?

Some conditions need an in-person exam or emergency care, so we do not treat them through telemedicine:

  • Controlled substance prescriptions
  • Strokes or neurological symptoms suggesting a stroke
  • Seizures
  • Chest pain
  • Fractures
  • Difficulty breathing
  • Dizziness or loss of consciousness
  • Sudden bleeding
  • Choking or gagging
  • Severe high blood pressure
  • Hemorrhoids
  • Head injuries
  • Severe abdominal pain

If you have any of these, please go to the emergency room or an in-person clinic for an evaluation.

Which insurance do you take, and what is the cash price?

We accept these insurance plans for all visits, including weight management:

  • HMSA (PPO and HMO)
  • HMAA
  • HMWG
  • UHA

Please have your membership card available when you book.

Without insurance, self-pay is $80 per visit plus local taxes. By comparison, a typical urgent care visit can cost $200 to $400, and an emergency room visit $1,500 or more.

Are visits virtual?

Yes. Visits are 100% virtual. You can be evaluated from home, office, hotel, or resort by phone, tablet, or computer, including face-to-face telehealth.

When medically appropriate, a prescription can be sent electronically to a local pharmacy. Prescriptions are not guaranteed.
